We Are NORML… And We Want Marijuana Legalized:
Speaking up for the Reform of marijuana laws are doctors, lawyers, politicians and everyone in between. With over 20 million American arrests since 1965 for the simple possession of marijuana, many feel the federal prohibition against marijuana is ludicrous.
As our prisons are overrun with non-violent marijuana-related offenders, we now have the opportunity to change America’s course.
This ill-conceived prohibition against a plant has cost our country billions of dollars, creating conflict within families and the legal system for the sick, as they fight for their lives while battling cancer, AIDS and a host of other ailments.
The rationale for an entire nation being held captive by an Omni present federal governments prohibition on marijuana has been exposed, and we as a people can change the course of our governments misguided laws.
We can regulate it, apply age restrictions and create millions of new jobs. President Obama it’s time to listen up and here the voice of the people that put you in office.
